Most recent smartphones support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer and many recent Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. To check, look for an "Add eSIM" option in your phone's mobile or cellular settings. On many phones, dialing *#06# shows an EID number if eSIM is supported.

Install your eSIM before you travel, while you are connected to Wi-Fi. Keep the eSIM line turned off until you arrive, then turn it on and enable data roaming for it. Check your plan details to see when its validity period starts.

Yes. The Oryalo eSIM is used for mobile data, and your usual SIM stays in your phone. WhatsApp and other messaging apps keep working with your usual number over the eSIM data connection. You can keep your main line on for calls and texts, but your home carrier may charge roaming fees for them.

After payment, your eSIM QR code is sent by email, typically within minutes. You can also find it in your Oryalo account. Scan it from your phone settings to install the eSIM.
